Rachel Perry
Rachel Perry is a clinical hypnotherapist in Ballarat, as well as a strategic psychotherapist, Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) practitioner, and 9D Breathwork facilitator. She works with clients experiencing anxiety, trauma, habits, and emotional patterns, supporting them to create meaningful and lasting change.
She provides a grounded, supportive space for clients seeking personal growth, confidence, and emotional reset, blending clinical skill with lived experience.
Rachel is currently completing a Bachelor of Psychological Science and is a Student Member of the Australian Psychological Society, reflecting her commitment to evidence-informed practice and ongoing professional development. This allows her to integrate evidence-based approaches, including cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), into her work where appropriate.
Her approach combines clinical hypnosis, strategic psychotherapy, EMDR, and CBT, alongside somatic practices such as 9D Breathwork. Rather than applying a one-size-fits-all method, Rachel tailors each session to the individual, working with patterns, behaviours, and nervous system responses in a practical and results-focused way.
Rachel specialises in sports performance mindset, anxiety, and trauma-informed work. She supports a wide range of clients, including professional athletes who want to overcome mental barriers, strengthen self-belief, and elevate performance. She also works with clients seeking support with addiction, emotional regulation, and resilience, helping them build the internal resources needed to move forward with clarity and confidence. Rachel continues to support individuals navigating post-divorce transitions and identity rebuilding, offering a steady and compassionate space during times of significant change.
As a member of the International Strategic Psychotherapists Association, the Guild of Australian Hypnotherapists, and the Hypnotherapy Council of Australia, Rachel is committed to maintaining high professional standards and ongoing development within her field.
Her background also includes yoga teacher training, which deepened her interest in somatic awareness and the mind-body connection. She continues to explore nervous system regulation and contemporary neuroscience, integrating these insights into her work to support sustainable change.
As a mother of four adult children, Rachel brings warmth, empathy, and real-world understanding into her practice. Her approach is grounded, practical, and deeply human, combining clinical skill with insight and a genuine belief in each person’s capacity to change.
